Last updated: September 2026. This policy explains how Alma Risk uses cookies and similar technologies on www.alma-risk.com, what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Alma Risk is a trading name of Alma Group Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 09453982.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device, remember your preferences and understand how it is being used. Some are set by us (first-party cookies) and some by services we use (third-party cookies). Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and local storage, are covered by this policy in the same way.
We use cookies for four purposes: to run the site and remember the choices you make in our cookie banner; to measure how the site is used so we can improve it; to understand whether our LinkedIn activity brings people to the site; and to let you book a call with us through an embedded scheduling tool. We do not sell personal data and we do not use cookies to show you advertising on this site.
These are needed for the site to work and to record the choices you make in the cookie banner. They cannot be switched off. Our consent banner, provided by Elfsight, stores your preferences so that we do not ask you again on every visit. Our hosting platform, Webflow, may set a small number of technical cookies needed to serve the site securely.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site and how they move through it. Google sets cookies (for example _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that assign an anonymous ID to your browser. Google Analytics is configured with Consent Mode, so these cookies are only placed once you have accepted analytics cookies in the banner. Google's privacy policy explains how it handles this data.
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand whether people who visit the site have come from our LinkedIn activity and to measure how effective that activity is. LinkedIn may set cookies such as li_fat_id, lidc, bcookie and UserMatchHistory. These are only placed once you have accepted marketing cookies in the banner. LinkedIn's cookie policy explains how it uses this information.
Our homepage includes a Calendly booking widget so that you can schedule a call with us. If you open or use the widget, Calendly may set its own cookies to run the booking process; Calendly's privacy policy explains how it handles this data. The site also links to LinkedIn and to other Alma Group companies. Those sites have their own cookie policies, which apply once you leave ours.
When you first visit the site you can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner. You can change your mind at any time: clearing the cookies for this site in your browser will bring the banner back on your next visit, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge explain how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install Google's browser add-on.
We may update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
If you have questions about cookies or about how we handle your data, email enquiries@alma-risk.com or write to Alma Risk, Mayfair, London.
